$MemO Collective: a members' clubhouse of browser games on Algorand
Connect an Algorand wallet and a members-only clubhouse opens: browser sports games, a dog track, raffles and a yard-sale marketplace, all priced in the club's $MemO token. Practice runs are free; earning, racing and raffles need one of the club's NFTs.

The door is a wallet
The $MemO Collective swaps the ticket booth for a token: eleven browser sports games, a dog race track, a raffle hall and a members' marketplace, all priced in $MemO1, the Algorand standard asset the club created for the purpose. The club calls the whole thing a Web3 country club2, and the description fits better than most.
Connect an Algorand wallet at thememocollective.xyz and a clubhouse3 opens with a rail of rooms down the side — Arcade, Race Track, Earn, Spend, Vault. The Arcade holds the sports games, from a three-point contest to a neon putting course. Behind it sit the dogs, the raffles, a vending machine, a marketplace the club calls the Yard Sale, and a trait swapper for the animal NFTs.
Arrive without a wallet and the page says so plainly: the clubhouse is members-only. Connected, the wallet is the membership card, and each collection4 opens a different room.
What sets the place apart is the number of rooms rather than the size of any one. Most NFT-gated games on Algorand are a single cabinet with a leaderboard. This is a small economy with a token through the middle of it, and the token does the work a ticket booth would — a raffle ticket, a vending pull, a race entry, a one-race boost, a trait swap.
Practice is free; earning is gated
Every game5 plays free in the browser, unlimited, with no NFT and no wallet spend. The cabinet says which mode you are in before the whistle: a practice run carries the line 'score, XP and badges count. No $MemO payout.'

Earning needs a key. A Phoenix Pixel depicting that sport switches its game into earn mode, and the retro hall takes a Classic Arcade Token instead. Paying runs sit behind a cooldown and a weekly cap on what one game can pay. The club's stated reason is that a shared reward pool only stays fun if it lasts.
What you earn, and in which asset
Every reward the club's pages list is paid in $MemO rather than ALGO: the daily faucet, the arcade's earn runs, the race pot, the raffle prizes. The amount depends on the key. A Classic jacket, or a membersonly.algo name, draws 1006 $MemO per item every 24 hours. A Classic Arcade Token is one paying play in the retro cabinets, about 69 $MemO. The Race Track pools entry fees and splits the pot 60/30/10 across the top three finishers. The race open on November 4 listed a 5,000 $MemO entry against a 900 $MemO pot, and the club says the pot grows with each entrant. $MemO traded at $0.0000194 that morning, which makes the whole pot worth under two cents.
How to start
The club's guide7 runs to five steps and 'about fifteen minutes': install Pera, fund it with ALGO, opt in to the token, swap ALGO for $MemO on Tinyman, Pact.fi or Myth.Finance, then connect at the arcade. Practising needs nothing past the wallet. Earning needs a key, and the keys are small: Phoenix Pixels cost 178 ALGO, Dapper Dogs 1049 ALGO and The Classic 55010 ALGO — about $1.6011, $9.8012 and $5213 at ALGO's $0.09414 that day.
The Classic's ask sits far above anything the collection has traded at. The one sale the marketplace records fetched 15015 ALGO. That single sale is the collection's entire lifetime volume across 154 items. The floor is an asking price with no sale near it to call it a valuation; a sale at that level would be the first.
Who runs it
No person is named on the site. The footer credits the work — 'Made by' Hunger4Crypto, linking hunger4crypto.com — and the club answers mail at hunger4crypto@thememocollective.xyz alongside info and collabs addresses. Its Discord carries the club's name, with about 1,40016 members and a few dozen online.
The club dates itself 2022–2026, and the token is not new: it was created by a wallet carrying the membersonly.algo name, which has since made 21117 assets. The current domain's earliest archived copy is from October this year.
How busy it is
The club publishes a weekly recap18 from its own ledger, and it is candid. For the first week of November it reports 54019 $MemO paid out to members, three raffle tickets sold and one dog race settled — a payout that, at the same price, comes to about one cent.
The gap between the chat and the boards is what a newcomer should weigh. The Discord holds about 1,40020 members. The all-time arcade board holds three names, the weekly board said it had no data, and the November derby standings held a single dog. The two contracts that hold a Classic jacket and a Racing Champ have each been called four times in their entire history, most recently in January 2024 and November 2023, so scores and prizes appear to be kept off chain.
The token's market is small too: about $9,700 of market cap against about $83 of trading in a day, on a supply of 1,000,000,000 $MemO. The largest holding is not a person's wallet but the escrow account of a smart contract. It received half that supply — 500,000,000 $MemO — from a wallet separate from the club's own addresses on October 22, 2024, and has moved nothing since November 1 that year. Vestige's $9,700 appears to be calculated on that half, since it is 500,000,000 tokens at the day's price. The full billion at the same price would come to about $19,400, though the day's $83 of trading suggests almost none of it changes hands.
Somewhere else to play
Astro Explorer21 runs retro cabinets behind its Bork Bork and Zerker NFTs, and its operator says wins pay its own community token and other Algorand assets. Where the Collective meters play through a token you buy, Astro's operator describes the model as 'a $1022 NFT to play in an arcade for the rest of ya life.'
What a member is exposed to
The token's roles are the first thing to weigh, because they are in use. Manager, reserve and freeze all sit with the club's main wallet; clawback sits with a separate club wallet.
- $MemO (ASA 885835936) (asset).
- Creator: Club's main wallet (membersonly.algo) (Active).
- Manager: Club's main wallet (membersonly.algo) (Active).
- Can: reassign the four roles; cannot change name, supply or decimals.
- Reserve: Club's main wallet (membersonly.algo) (Active).
- Can: informational only, no power over holders.
- Freeze: Club's main wallet (membersonly.algo) (Active).
- Can: freeze or unfreeze any account's $MemO.
- Clawback: Club's clawback wallet (Active).
- Can: move $MemO out of any account without its consent.
That clawback is not a dormant safeguard. On one account the key reaches, all 30 of its most recent $MemO transactions, from October 29 to November 4, are clawbacks. 27 take $MemO out of it to other wallets and three put $MemO in. A single 540 $MemO clawback on November 1 is the only transfer of that size in the record. It matches the 540 $MemO the recap says the club paid members that week — the same cent-sized sum. That is the point for a holder: the power to move $MemO out of any wallet is not hypothetical but the club's payout rail, and the same key could reach a balance that was never meant as a prize. The freeze key sits with the main wallet, so a holding can be stopped from moving at all.
Access hangs on the same wallet. Earn mode, the daily drip, race entry and members-only raffles all depend on the NFT sitting in the wallet you connect. Sell it, or lose the wallet, and the rooms close until the club sends something to a new address; the gate reads balances, and nothing in it restores a lost key.
The club's legal hub is upfront about the paperwork: the documents behind the wagers are 'plain-English DRAFT TEMPLATES' that have 'not yet been reviewed by a lawyer24', and rewards are 'not guaranteed income, guaranteed profit, investment advice, or a promise of future value.25'
Playing costs nothing beyond the wallet connect, the club is small enough that a new member would be noticed, and a practice run tells you more about the games than any floor price will.
